Appliance Testing

Appliance Testing

From kettles and computers to power tools and extension leads — every portable electrical appliance in your workplace should be tested regularly for electrical safety.

What gets tested?

Anything that plugs into a standard power outlet: kitchen appliances, office equipment, IT gear, power tools, extension leads, power boards, heaters, chargers and more. If it has a plug, it should be tested.

How often?

Testing frequency depends on the environment. Offices are typically every 12 months; construction and hostile environments every 3–6 months. Paul will help you set up the right cycle for your site.
